People interested in archaeology are encouraged to join the southwest chapter of the Oklahoma Anthropological Society (OAS) that meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the Museum of the Great Plains (7:00 p.m). A cultural studies professional speaks at every meeting on topics related to archaeology and history. Members of the OAS are eligible to participate in OAS-sponsored undertakings and museum projects.
